Health and Social Services Ombudsman

Ombudsmen strive for a better quality of health services in Norway.

We act as a voice for patients and clients who find it difficult to safeguard their own interests. Often our work is to create contacts between patients and health care services for matters to be resolved outside the formal complaints procedures.

There is an ombudsman in each county who can help patients and clients who do not get the help or treatment they are in need of.

Find your county and make direct contact for help.
