Use the Pregnancy service with the digital health card

To use the Pregnancy service with the digital antenatal health card, you must consent to information about you and your pregnancy being stored and shared with the healthcare professionals following you up. The information is shared only when they use the digital antenatal health card. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Digital antenatal health card

More GPs, midwives and hospitals are starting to use the digital health card. With the digital health card, you and your midwife or GP can register and share information about your pregnancy digitally.

You can, for example, share information about you and your pregnancy before your first antenatal appointment.

Bring your paper antenatal health card to your antenatal appointments and other follow-up appointments.

Use the Pregnancy service without the digital health card

You can use the Pregnancy service without the digital health card if you do not want to share information with healthcare professionals. The information you register is then stored only for you. You can also use the service together with your partner without your partner having access to your health information.
