Treatment aids is a service that is available for some people to try on Helsenorge. The service enables you to keep track of the equipment you have received for medical treatment at home, and to order accessories and consumables for your equipment.
The service currently supports the following equipment:

Even if you use any of the above equipment, the service might not yet be available to you on Helsenorge. At present, only a few units that provide treatment aids have so far introduced the service. In the long term, more units will adopt the service and additional types of equipment and treatment aids will be supported.

Treatment aids are medical equipment such as devices, instruments or other aids you can use to treat or monitor diseases and conditions at home.
Consumables are accessories and items that you need in order to use medical equipment safely and correctly. This may include disposable equipment or components that need to be replaced regularly, such as tubes, mouthpieces, probes or filters.
The service provides information about the equipment you have received from the hospital. You can see the name, model, serial number and other information.
You can also order accessories for your equipment.
Currently, the service is only available to a few people. In the long term, everyone who receives medical equipment will be able to use the service.
If you have been invited to try the Treatment aids service, it is because you have received medical equipment from a unit that provides treatment aids and is participating in the trial. If this is the case, you will be able to access the service from the Helsenorge homepage.
The service is under development. This means that the design or features may change while you are using the service. If you have any input and feedback on your experiences of the service, please get in touch. You will also have the chance to complete a survey about the service.
