If you would like advice and guidance on choosing a treatment centre, you can consult a patient advisor.

Telephone service closed for the summer

The telephone service in the Northern and Central health regions will be closed for summer holidays during weeks 29, 30, and 31.

The telephone service in the South-Eastern health region will be closed for summer holidays during weeks 28, 29, and 30.

You can call a patient advisor directly on 24 24 05 00.

The phone lines are open every weekday from 9:00 to 15:00.

The patient advisers are nurses who have experience of the specialist health service. They are covered by a duty of confidentiality and can provide information regarding:

treatment options
waiting times
how to switch hospitals
your rights in the specialist health service

The patient advisers can also provide information about The Health and Work scheme.
