Western Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse Vest)
In the Helse Vest region, the telephone hours are weekdays from 09:00 to 11:00.
Central Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse Midt)
In the Helse Midt region, the telephone hours are weekdays from 09:00 to 11:00.
Northern Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse Nord)
In the Helse Nord region, the telephone hours are weekdays from 09:00 to 15:00.
South‑Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse Sør‑Øst)
In the Helse Sør‑Øst region, the telephone service is temporarily closed.

The patient advisers are nurses who have experience of the specialist health service. They are covered by a duty of confidentiality and can provide information regarding:
- treatment options
- waiting times
- how to switch hospitals
- your rights in the specialist health service
The patient advisers can also provide information about The Health and Work scheme.
