About Documents

Here you can see your documents that are stored at Helsenorge. Such documents may include forms, medical records you have copied from your patient records, or access reports you have requested from health registers.

Documents that are automatically stored in the service 

Forms 

Here you can find copies of forms you have submitted via Helsenorge. If you have started filling out a form, you will also find the draft form here, so that you can complete it later.  

Access reports 

If you have requested access to information registered about you or about who has accessed your information, you will be able to find the access reports here.    

Patient travel 

Here you can find previous patient travel decisions.  

Documents you can collect and store in the service yourself 

Medical records

You can choose to save documents from your medical records. This could include discharge summaries, medical records, or test results.  

Treatment plans

If you have been assigned a treatment plan from a healthcare professional, you can save a copy of it here.   

Updating the documents

Documents that you save here are not automatically updated if healthcare professionals make updates in their systems. It is therefore a good idea to keep in mind that more up-to-date versions of the documents may exist elsewhere, for example with your doctor or other healthcare professionals treating you.  

Accessing and deleting documents  

Access to documents

You must be logged in to find and view the documents you have stored here. Only you or those you have given power of attorney to, will have access. You can choose for each individual document whether you wish to make it visible to those with power of attorney.   

Deleting documents

You can delete documents you have saved here if you want. Only the copy saved at Helsenorge will be deleted, and your healthcare professional may still have a version of the document saved.  

More about this service

  • This service requires consent at Basic access level or higher.

    If you wish to check the level of consent you have given or change your consent, you can do this under Privacy settings.

  • In order to use this service on behalf of others for whom you do not have parental responsibility, they must grant you power of attorney for the service area number 1: Access to information registered about you.

  • You can use this service on behalf of children under 16 for whom you have parental responsibility.

  • Unlisted address is often referred to as «confidential address» or «blocked address».

    This service is available to people with an unlisted address.

    If this service contains information from another service that is not accessible to you because of the confidential address, you will also not be able to see this information here.

    If you live at a confidential address, you will not be able to represent others at Helsenorge, nor will others be able to act on your behalf.
