Health Contacts

Health Contacts provide information about your current and former GPs and other contact persons in the health service, including health and care services in the municipality.

About Health Contacts ("Helsekontakter")

Here you get an overview of your current and former GPs, as well as other contact persons in the health service, such as coordinators for cancer, health nurse or the midwife service. You will also see contact persons in the health and care services in your municipality.

You can also add more health contacts to your Summary Care Record ("Kjernejournal").

More about this service

  • In order to use this service on behalf of someone you do not have custody of, they must grant you power of attorney for service area number 3: Digital healthcare services.

  • You can use this service on behalf of a child under 16 you have custody of, but only if at least one parent is registered in the National Population Register at the same address as the child:

    • If one or more of the parents are registered at the same address as the child, both parents will be able to represent the child.
    • If neither parent is registered at the same address as the child, neither of them will be able to represent the child.

    From 16 years of age

    When a child for whom you have parental responsibility turns 16 years of age, you will no longer have access to their health data. In order to gain access, the young person can either log in to Helsenorge or give you power of attorney.

  • Unlisted address is often referred to as «confidential address» or «blocked address».

    This service is available to people with an unlisted address.

    If this service contains information from another service that is not accessible to you because of the confidential address, you will also not be able to see this information here.

    If you live at a confidential address, you will not be able to represent others at Helsenorge, nor will others be able to act on your behalf.
