In order to use this service on behalf of someone you do not have custody of, they must grant you power of attorney for service area number 3: Digital healthcare services.
You can use the service on behalf of children under 12 years of age for whom you have parental responsibility, but only if at least one of the parents are registered in the Norwegian National Population Register with the same address as the child:
- If one or more of the parents are registered at the same address as the child, both parents will be able to represent the child.
- If neither parent is registered at the same address as the child, neither of them will be able to represent the child.
Referral letters relating to children under the age of 12 years will not be available in the patient records until ten days after being issued, even if the status of the referral will be shown under Referrals from day one.
Only hospitals within the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority and Western Norway Regional Health Authority offer access to children’s referrals via Helsenorge.
This service is not available on behalf of children between the ages of 12 and 16 years.
Unlisted address is often referred to as «confidential address» or «blocked address».
This service is available to people with an unlisted address.
If this service contains information from another service that is not accessible to you because of the confidential address, you will also not be able to see this information here.
If you live at a confidential address, you will not be able to represent others at Helsenorge, nor will others be able to act on your behalf.
